08. The Relationship

More often than not Anjea pretty much makes itself, with little winemaking input. It's thrilling to step aside when we harvest fruit that has all it needs to form a beautifully proportioned wine. There is no greater joy than to work with a vineyard like this—mindfully farmed and irrefutably distinct.

Anjea's pure, delineated fruit character and elegant framework are hallmarks of the Sleeping Lady site, gratis of its dark, gravelly soils and the San Pablo Bay's constant cooling influence.
